You probably knew this was coming, right? Eight posts a year (two posts if you're excluding mere collections of links and quotes) isn't exactly prolific.
If my many years spent sharing my opinions on the internet has taught me anything, it's that if you do it under any one banner for long enough, the accumulated embarrassment is bound to become unbearable. Imagine if your PhD dissertation included all your pre-K finger paintings and emo poetry from freshman year of high school affixed to the back. A blog is kind of like that. This is of course one of the major downsides of online living, and I think it's only healthy to mitigate against it in some way. There's a reason the human mind has evolved the ability to forget, you know? Plus the new year is only two weeks away, so it seems the appropriate time for a good 'ol fashioned internet purge.
So within the next day or two, I'll be removing all the content from this blog. Eventually (though probably not for another eight months at least) I'll be making a new homepage which will house a more tightly curated collection of some things that I've made or written. I'll keep this RSS feed active so that I can update y'all when that (or any similar 'major development') takes place. In the meantime, if you feel the need to keep abreast of my intermittent brain farts, I'll still be posting here.
Thanks for reading, everyone. It's been a trip.
